What is IMPRV and how does it work?
IMPRV is an AI-powered practice platform that simulates real interviews and meetings. You choose a topic, and the AI asks you questions just like a real interviewer would. It listens to your answers, asks follow-up questions based on what you say, and records the entire session so you can review it later.
What kind of sessions can I practice?
You can practice job interviews, team meetings, sales calls, investor pitches, college admissions interviews, public speaking, and more. Just type your topic when starting a session and the AI will tailor all questions to that subject.
Do I need to install anything?
No. IMPRV runs entirely in your browser. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone and a modern browser like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. No downloads or plugins required.
Are my sessions recorded and where are they stored?
Yes, every session is automatically recorded with both your voice and the AI's voice. Recordings are stored locally on your device in your browser's storage. They are never uploaded to any server — your data stays private and on your device.
Can I review my past sessions?
Absolutely. Head to the My Performance section to see a history of all your past sessions. You can play back the full video recording of any session to see how you performed and identify areas to improve.
How does the AI decide what questions to ask?
The AI generates questions dynamically using your chosen topic and your responses. It listens to what you say and asks relevant follow-up questions — just like a real interviewer. No two sessions are the same, even on the same topic.
What if I don't understand a question?
Just say "repeat" or "can you say that again" and the AI will rephrase the question in simpler words. You can also say "next question" to skip to the next one. The repeat doesn't count as a new question.
Is IMPRV free to use?
IMPRV offers pay-as-you-go plans with no subscriptions. You choose how many questions you want — 5, 10, or 15 — and pay only for what you use. Check the Plans section above for current pricing.
